| Fail-Proof:HAND APPLIQUE Have you ever heard someone jokingly talk about the "A" word? In quilting parlance, that means HAND applique. If you have been reluctant to try hand applique, this workshop will help you overcome your hesitation. Nancy provides you a kit with the necessary needles, pins, fabrics, thread and interesting patterns for you to have a good and successful start. Kit fee is $6.00, each student -- includes fabric for one block. Look for her book: Learn How to Applique in Just One Weekend MACHINE APPLIQUE Learn Nancy's techniques for creating machine applique that is great looking and can often made tolook like good hand applique. Most of the Applique Blocks in her book 101 Applique Blocks are stitched by machine over turned edges. You will need a well oiled zig-zag sewing machine and threads to match the applique pieces. No kit provided. |
